Pogo Goes Extreme

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Extreme pogo sticks bring more bounce to the ounce.

Vurtego Extreme Pogo is a line of revamped pogo sticks that launch bouncers up to eight feet in the air.

Vurtego founder Brian Spencer says the 100-year-old toys were in need of an extreme makeover and now pogo peeps can, “defeat gravity directly, even if they weigh 300 pounds.”

Spencer says extreme pogoers can perform wicked stunts like back flips, front flips, and under leg bar spins, where they rotate the stick under their legs, right in their front yard.

True masters will even jump over cars, off roofs, and down steep hills for a feverish pogo rush.

Spencer says, “There’s kids out there all over the world evolving the sport on their own, doing crazy things and testing the limits.”

Spencer hopes to see extreme pogo take over the world, and maybe some other worlds too.

He says, “I’ve talked to people about taking a pogo to the moon. You can’t get more extreme than that.”
