Horror Rockers Get Inspiration From Spooky Spirit

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A band of horrific punk rockers from Bellingham, Washington, is getting musical inspiration from a spooky spirit.

Black Eyes And Neckties is a punk meets horror rock band known for their scary lyrics, creepy organ lines, and stage antics that include dressing up like zombies and squirting fake blood all over each other.

Guitarist Ryan Cadaver says the band draws inspiration for their music from campy, classic horror movies like Night of the Living Dead.

However, one of their songs was inspired by their own spooky paranormal experience.

Some of the band members were living in a house that was once a tombstone shop and place where families could view the open caskets of their dead loved ones.

The old woman who owned the home died in one of the rooms, but the band’s bass player could still hear her phantom footsteps along with sounds of her cane dragging and doors mysteriously slamming in the house.

Her ghost inspired the band’s jam “Night After Night,” which can be found on their new album appropriately titled Apparition!
