‘Nashville Star” Reject Is More Than Just A Pretty Face

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The latest Nashville Star reject is more than just a pretty face – and washboard abs, and toned biceps.

Justin Gaston, a model-turned-country crooner from Louisiana, was given the boot from the show this past Monday (Jun. 23).

During his stint on the stage, judges Jewel, Jeffrey Steele, John Rich, and even host Billy Ray Cyrus constantly commented on the country boy’s good looks and suggested that he go into acting.

But Gaston doesn’t just want to be made for the camera, he wants to be a country music superstar.

While being praised for his looks “felt nice,” Gaston says there’s more to him.

He’s been singing and songwriting country tunes for years and plans to keep pounding the pavement in Nashville, Tennessee, until his voice is heard.

He says, “Music is my passion and I love performing. Modeling was never my No. 1 priority, just the doorway that led me to bigger things. It’s all about the music, but if my looks help me out, I’ll take it!”

Nashville Star airs Mondays on NBC.
