Thats the message researcher Richard Rubacher is getting from Manson after sifting through more than 96 letters that the killer sent to him from prison from 1976 to 1978.
Rubacher who worked with authorities and was Mansons confidant at the time says the letters offer chilling insight into Mansons murderous mind, showing that Manson thought he was above the law and granted power by God to kill.
According to Rubacher, the letters are the only account of a first-person confession from Manson that exists in which he fully admits to his crimes.
He explains, Many times in the letters, Manson says God has given him dispensation to rule. He considers himself to be a God-like authority figure whos above all others.
Rubacher hopes the resurfacing of the strange confession letters can teach the world about Mansons psychiatric problems and disturbing elements of his personality.
The Manson letters will be the subject of a new book Rubacher is working on, tentatively titled Charles Mansons Blood Letters.
