Pat Boone Considers Unholy Musical Matchup

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Pat Boone has no problems crooning in the face of controversy.

Boone – the clean-cut entertainer who sold millions of records from the 50s through the 70s – put together Thank You Billy Graham, an all-star musical tribute featuring singers like Bono, Reba McEntire, and LeAnn Rimes paying their rocking’ respects to the praised preacher.

Despite being a devout Christian and life-long friend of Graham’s, Boone would’ve welcomed some surprising, sacrilegious guest singers if they’d asked.

Boone used to live next to Ozzy Osbourne, and though he couldn’t get the Prince of Darkness to croon on the celebratory song, he says, “If Ozzy had wanted to, sure! He’s got ghoulish, scary things all over his house, but he’s got crosses too, and I know he prays.”

In fact, Boone would’ve even courted a seriously controversial character.

He says, “I would’ve considered anyone. If [head of the Nation of Islam] Louis Farrakhan wanted to pay tribute, we’d have have put him on there!”

Thank You Billy Graham comes out tomorrow (May 20).
