Power Tool Racing Is All About Looks

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Power Tools are made to be pretty.

Sanders and weedwackers will be flying this weekend (May 17- 18) during the Power Tool Drag Races at the Ace International Speedway in San Francisco, in which modified, handheld power tools hit the track for what’s called a “nasty, oily, sex-toy-filled, drunken, sunburnt, screamy, hepatitis-induced blowout race.”

The souped-up tools will whiz down a 75-foot wooden track, but it’s not just speed that gets you a win.

Sport creator Charlie Gadeken says, “We have mechanical engineers that have the leg up on speed, so you should make your racer look good and dress it up cute so you win for creativity. We’re definitely about looking good.”

Participants can also win awards for most pathetic engineering, cutest racer, or machine most likely to get its maker laid.

The event even has different classes, including the riding class, that has contestants riding their tools, and the sex toy class, in which powered-up dildos and vibrators come jerking down the track.
