Drawing Is A Drag

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Drawing is becoming a real drag.

Creative – and alcoholic – juices are flowing at Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School in New York, which teaches unconventional life-drawing classes at bars.

Students are treated to drag queens, roller girls, burlesque dancers, circus performers, and transsexual porn stars as sexy models.

Event creator Molly Crabapple says, “We like unconventional types with big personalities, and since we’re at a bar getting drunk, things get interesting. We encourage the models to yell back and to be loud, and it gets wild.”

This Sunday (May 4), the off-the-wall art school is hosting the Madame du Sketchy Drag Drawing Salon at New York’s Lucky Cheng’s bar, in which buff boys and divalicious drag queens strip down and strike a pose.

But no one should fear the queer experience.

Crabapple explains, “Many men don’t come because they think drawing a man it makes you gay. So we want to have an explicitly queer-centric night so they get over it.”
