Rick Osbourne is the author of Operation Pull Your Own Weight: A Radically Simple Solution to Childhood Obesity (PYOW Publishing), which pushes for kids as young as six to do pull ups on a height-adjusted bar twice a week.
When the bar is raised in inch increments, Osbourne says kids will quickly progress from jump-assisted pull ups to pulling their own weight.
