Chick Flicks Prevail As Top Romantic Movies Of All Time

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) is a time for love, romance, and chick flicks.

Fandango.com – the nation’s leading moviegoer destination – has just conducted a survey about men and women’s favorite romantic movies and romantic lines in movies, and chick flicks rule the results.

For women, The Notebook is the top film that sets their hearts aflutter, followed by Titanic, Pretty Woman, Sleepless in Seattle, A Walk To Remember, Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Gone With the Wind, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet, and Juno.

And while guys have similar passionate picks like Titanic, Ghost, and The Notebook, quirkier love stories like 50 First Dates and The Princess Bride also made their list.

For best romantic dialogue in a film, ladies chose Jennifer Grey’s loving line to Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing where she tells him: I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel with you.

Guys chose Renee Zellweger’s quote, You had me at hello, from Jerry Macguire.

But both gals and guys agreed on one heartwrenching line: Kate Winslet’s teary farewell to Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic, when she assures him, I’ll never let go.
