‘Bridge To Terabithia’ Star Channels Inner Bully

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One rising starlet used her struggles as a younger sibling for some big screen inspiration.

Lauren Clinton stars as bad-to-the-bone bully Janice Avery in Bridge To Terabithia, and the 14-year-old actress says being “mean” for the role was much easier than she expected.

Clinton suspects her “inner bully” can be attributed to her real life experiences as a younger sibling who had to learn to fend for herself against her older brother.

She jokes, “It was kind of easy to play the bully. I have an older brother, so I’m pretty tough. I have to deal with him, you know? Having him around prepared me for my role in Bridge To Terabithia; it brought out the bully in me!”

But while she’s intimidating on the big screen, Clinton’s acting influences aren’t exactly bonafide bullies.

She sites funnyman Steve Carell and House actor Hugh Laurie as her favorite actors, and says she’d love to meet them, because in her words, “Their shows are all we watch in my house!”
