Author Proves His Point With Silly Sports Scenarios

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An audacious author is suiting up to test out his hilarious sports theories.

Todd Gallagher is the author of Andy Roddick Beat Me With A Frying Pan (Random House), in which he answers a series of sports questions, like whether or not he could beat professional tennis star Andy Roddick if Roddick only used a frying pan as a tennis racket.

Turns out, Gallagher beat Roddick, but when he hit the pool in a scenerio against Olympic swimmer Josh Davis, things didn’t go so swimmingly.

He says, “I practiced against a cracked-out friend of mine and at the wave pool at Mandalay Bay, but I couldn’t even finish.”

And there was one athlete that truly freaked him out.

He says, “I was trying to see how many regular guys Mike Tyson could beat up. I raised $2 million for a Pay- Per-View event, but when I met him, he was completely insane and wanted me to buy him a Ferrari just to do it.”

Andy Roddick Beat Me With a Frying Pan is out now.
