Bloomsberry & Co., a Boston-based designer chocolate company, has come out with Climate Change Chocolate, a line of candy bars that give some meaning to your munching.
Proceeds from the Climate Change candy bars will go to TerraPass, an ecological company that will use the funds from each bar to offset 133 pounds of carbon dioxide, which is the daily average impact a person makes on the environment.
The candy bars are wrapped in renewable energy paper, and come with 15 tips to help buyers learn how to change their lifestyles and daily habits to be more eco-friendly.
Bloomsberry CEO Paul Pruett says the chocolates still taste delicious, but are also a small step people can take to play a role in the global warming battle.
