Snoring Mates Cause Sleepless Nights For Women

BRUNSWICK, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Ladies, if you’re having trouble sleeping, your snoring partner may be to blame.

Women’s health expert Dr. Donnica Moore says millions of women are suffering from lack of sleep, and it could be from waking up throughout the night to the loud, annoying sounds of their husband’s snoring.

According to Moore, their man’s rowdy rumbling could be a case of something called Obtrusive Sleep Apnea (OSA), where episodes of loud snoring are followed by a silent period of no breathing, and quick gasps for air.

Moore says when women finally visit their doctors to report their sleepless nights they often forget to mention their partner’s snoring, which is why many OSA victims never get proper treatment and why “insomniac” women are often misdiagnosed.

Dr. Moore explains, “Snoring is a medical problem that needs to be examined. Apnea is treatable, but you have to tell your doctor. There are masks, medicines, and sleep studies to cure it.”

And if women don’t speak up about their man’s snoring, it could lead to a real battle in the bedroom.

Dr. Moore adds, “Women who are excessively sleepy experience memory loss and crankiness. This can be very negative on your relationship. You don’t want to end up sleeping in separate beds!”
