Dreidel Game Puts A New Spin On Tired Tradition

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new Hannukah game is putting an exciting spin on a tired tradition and becoming a go-to gift for people of all faiths.

No Limit Texas Dreidel is a game that combines the Jewish spinning top with the popular poker game, and substitutes chips for thin chocolate coins known as Gelt.

Owner and co-inventor Jennie Rivlin Roberts says her product raises the stakes this holiday season.

Rivlin Roberts says, “Obviously we’re modernizing a traditional game – dreidel is so boring, but this is a party game. People say, ‘Oh, that’s cute,’ but it’s not just funny, it’s really fun.”

And the happening Hannukah gift isn’t just for Jews – Rivlin Roberts says you can bet that the dreidel game is a good stocking stuffer for Christians too.

She says, “Non-Jews will flip over the chocolate coins. They’re not part of Christian tradition, and they go crazy over the gelt! And spinning tops are always fun too!”

And while anybody can enjoy the high-stakes Hannukah game, Rivlin Roberts says there is one important limit to the No Limit fun.

She says, “You can’t be an anti-Semite. Anti-Semites will hate it!”
