Mitchell Symons has just penned Where Do Nudists Keep Their Hankies? (Harper), a book about everything you ever wanted to know about sex, but were afraid to ask.
With advice from his friends, acquaintances, and experts, Symons answers questions like, Why do men fall asleep after sex?, What do they call a Brazilian Bikini Wax in Brazil?, and If a gay man marries a lesbian, who does the dishes?
And while Symons considers himself a pretty intelligent bloke, there was still one query during his raunchy research that managed to totally stump him.
Symons was most surprised by the response a friend gave him when Symons asked why gays talk in an effeminate manner.
Symons explains, Ive always wondered about gays speech, and my friend gave me an incredibly intelligent answer. He told me that gay men need a way to recognize one another, and a feminine voice is their dialect. I was surprised at how sensible the answer was, given the rather silly question.
And as for where nudists keep their hankies, Symons discovered another sensible bare truth.
According to the Central Council for British Naturism, nudists benefit from regular exposure to fresh air and sunshine, and therefore, the incidence of colds is reduced and they may not need a hankie.
Symons book hits shelves Tuesday (Nov. 13).
