Race For The White House Won’t Get Vocal

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Los Angeles-based voice expert says there’s not a whole lot to shout about with the current crop of presidential candidates.

Dr. Mort Cooper is a voice expert who’s analyzed the voices of White House hopefuls like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, and Fred Thompson, and he says there’s not a single standout voice in the campaigning crowd.

Dr. Cooper says, “The candidates’ voices are dinner jacket voices – they’re listenable, but not outstanding. They’re not stylish. Nobody has a voice that says, ‘Listen to me.’”

According to Dr. Cooper, Mrs. Clinton “has an effective voice, but it doesn’t mesmerize you,” and Obama, “has a friendly voice, but it doesn’t stand out.”

And Dr. Cooper says Thompson’s smooth speaking style may strike a chord with voters, but he adds, “His voice is all he’s got.”

In fact, Dr. Cooper says next year’s election has little to do with anyone’s voice at all.

He says, “This election is about content, not style. They all have decent voices, but that’s not going to make the difference.”
