Punk Rockers Set To Become The Next ‘Spice Boys’

GREENSBORO, N.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Newbie punk band Farewell have a back-up plan if their rock-n-roll dreams fall flat.

The sextet from Greensboro, North Carolina, may rock out for adoring fans, but if their stage skills don’t pay off, guitarist Wil Andrews says they’ve got plans to become the male Spice Girls.

Andrews says, “I’d be Baby Spice since I’m the youngest. Marshall, our singer, would be Daddy Spice because he always watches over us. And Chris, our keyboard player, would definitely be Crazy Spice. He’ll do anything and doesn’t care if he hurts himself.”

As for the other members of the group, their nicknames need no explanation.

Andrews says, “Our drummer, Jeff would be Sleepy. Kevin, the other guitarist, would be Quiet Spice, and Buddy, our bassist would be Lazy. It’s pretty obvious why.”

Farewell’s debut album, Isn’t This Supposed to be Fun?, hits stores September 25.
