Bud Ferrante is a physical therapist specializing in golf, and he says before you put on your collared shirt and hit the clubs, you better make sure you can do the twist.
Ferrante says the keys to staying injury-free on the links are flexibility and rotation, and in his clinic he gives golfers a shot at success by improving their core strength while teaching them the fundamental facts on staying fit.
So, while you may not become the next Tiger Woods, Ferrante has some encouraging advice for the weekend warrior.
He says, Endurance and cardio is important to a certain degree, but you dont have to go through 30 minutes of the treadmill before golfing.
