Score Some Office Points With Your Pooch

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re sick of kissing your boss’ butt, let your pooch take over.

That’s the bark behind Pet Sitters International’s “Take Your Dog to Work Day,” which encourages proud pooch owners to bring Fido into the office this Friday (June 22), to improve office morale and even make some pet – and human – pals.

Event spokesperson Andrea Arden says, “Everyone loves pets. It’s a good way to bond with your co-workers and even your boss.”

Although your pooch can lighten the mood at the office, Arden has some bones of advice.

She says make sure canines are clean and exercised, and bring plenty of chew toys to help get through those dog days behind the desk.

She explains, “It’s the same idea behind bringing your daughter or son to work with no toys. They’d be running around the office getting in trouble.”

Arden has some final tips for avoiding doggie dilemmas.

If you have a menacing dog, like a Doberman or Pitbull, Arden advises, “put a cute ribbon on their head to make them look approachable and sweet.”
