Chippendale Dances The Plank on ‘Pirate Master’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being a Chippendale’s dancer may get you some booty, but it doesn’t help you engineer a pirate’s life.

That’s the swashbuckling story of scientist, exotic dancer, and aspiring pirate John Lakness, who was cut adrift from Pirate Master last Thursday (May 31).

The mixed-up matey says the bright lights of Chippendale’s, along with his electrical engineering degree, didn’t shine so bright for him as a scallywag on the high seas.

As he puts it, “I did a lot of things that were less than brilliant.”

Now that he’s walked the plank, the lost landlubber admits he’ll be busy sailing the waters of his conflicted careers.

Says Lakness: “As a scientist and a dancer, I’m still trying to figure out how to make a synthesis of both.”

Pirate Master airs on Thursday nights.
