Making Out At Drive-Ins Is Still Fun

COSTA MESA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Now movie lovers can get their freak on for the first time in nearly a decade at Orange County’s first drive-in movie theater in Costa Mesa, California.

Engines will rev at the Star-Vu Drive-In this Friday night (May 18) for its grand re-opening and the premiere of Shrek 3, but make sure you don’t honk the horn too much while making out with your date.

Owner Fred Armendariz says although his theater is highly supervised, you can still work on your night moves as long as you don’t moan over the movie.

Armendariz says, “I’m not the social police. Obviously we don’t interfere with people’s privacy.”

But he doesn’t expect too many cars to be rockin’ anyway.

As Armendariz puts it, “I’m not really worried because 90 percent of the people who go to drive-ins these days are families.”

Keep in mind if you do want to reach a cinematic climax, he says necking in the backseat of the car is fair game, but public nudity is definitely a big no-no.
