New Film Looking For All ‘American Girls’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Now all American girls have an opportunity to star in an all-American movie – in Toronto.

Starting this Monday (May 7) in Los Angeles, HBO Films is on the hunt for an all-American girl between the ages of 8 to 12 to star alongside Abigail Breslin in the movie Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery, based on the popular dolls and books of the same name.

Open auditions will continue Tuesday (May 8) at the American Girl Place store in Chicago and May 14 in New York.

Says producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas: “This is such a wonderful opportunity for us – to go across the country looking for girls that love these characters as much as we do, and give them the chance to join us in bringing this inspirational story to the screen.”
