Bowling For Soup Singer Gets Major Acting Lesson From Lee Majors

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bowling For Soup lead singer Jaret Reddick had a major acting lesson – from Lee Majors.

The former star of shows like The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy plays Reddick’s father in the band’s newest video, “When We Die.”

The two play a father and son at odds with each other and Reddick says Majors brought his “A game” to the set.

As Reddick puts it, “[Majors] was amazing and definitely into it. He was saying things like, ‘You should look away from me in this scene.’ Then he would apologize and I’d say, ‘You don’t have to. You’re the freaking Fall Guy!”’

Although Reddick has theater training, he says working with Majors helped him achieve new depths of emotion.

In his words, “It’s really weird, but we filmed this scene where my onscreen wife is holding a baby and Majors and the woman playing my Mom walk in. And each time we filmed it, I started to believe it and the attachment to my mom and dad.”

Bowling For Soup is currently on tour promoting its latest CD, The Great Burrito Extortion Case.
