Gay-dio’ Taking San Francisco By Storm

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You’ve heard of radio, but what about “gay-dio?”

That’s what some insiders are calling a new morning radio show in San Francisco that is hosted by openly gay disc jockeys Greg Sherrell and Fernando Ventura.

The two dish daily on everything from politics to American Idol, and say the show has been explosive – and not just with the gay community.

Says Sherrell: “Straight guys love us – that’s the biggest compliment to us. We get lots of emails from straight guys who say they’ve changed their views since listening to our show. It might sound backhanded at times, but it does mean a lot.”

Adds Ventura: “People are afraid of the unknown, but I know we are changing all that. It’s amazing to see the impact we’ve had on people.”

Although the show is only broadcast in San Francisco, the two say they’d love to take it nationwide because they feel “those middle states” could really use a wake-up call.

As Sherrell puts it, “It’s about time the gay community had a voice – we’re here to provide it.”
