Real-Life ‘Polar Express’ Tour Takes You To Santa

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Visiting the North Pole to meet Santa Claus isn’t just a childhood fantasy anymore – in fact, travelers can now make it a reality.

That’s because the Colorado-based Beyond Boundaries travel company hosts annual trips to the “North Pole” throughout the month of December.

The trips, for customized groups of at least 10 people, take you to Finland – about as close to the North Pole as anyone can get.

During the trip, tourists get to meet Santa in person, see his workshop, and even take a sleigh ride with elves and real reindeer.

Spokeswoman Jeannie Barresi says the trip is perfect for anyone who enjoys Christmas.

As she puts it, “It’s fun meeting International Santas and hanging out with people who really look like elves.”

Naturally, kids are also welcome on the tour, and most manage to keep from crying or pouting despite the massive jet lag incurred from the flight.

In Barresi’s words: “Nobody’s ever naughty when they see Santa.”
