Republicans Happier Than Democrats?

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Some political polls suggest that many Americans are angry with the Republican party but a new study suggests that Republicans tend to be happier with life in general.

The survey, which was conducted by the StrategyOne research firm, asked Americans to rate their happiness on a 10-point scale.

Although the average American rated themselves a “6.8” in happiness, Republicans rated their happiness level at “7.3” while Democrats only averaged 6.75 points for happiness.

In addition, 93 percent of Republicans believe their life is meaningful, compared to 87 percent of Democrats.

  • 25 percent of Republicans are satisfied with the state of the country but only 9 percent of Democrats feel that way.

  • 54 percent of Democrats worry about having enough money for food and groceries but only 41 percent of Republicans feel the pinch.

  • Finally, there is one thing that Republicans and Democrats do agree: 35 percent insist they have sex more than once a week.
