‘Closer’ Cast Member Gets A Lot Of ‘Closer Love’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For actor Robert Gossett, being a “bad cop” is a good thing.

Gossett, who plays Commander Taylor on the TNT drama, The Closer, says he gets a lot of “Closer love” when he’s out in public but admits the way his fans react to him has his 8-year-old son confused.

In his words, “I was in Costco this past weekend with my son and there was another couple yelling, ‘Bad cop! Bad cop!’ at me.”

Gossett admits his son didn’t know how to react until the couple started telling him how much they loved the show – while complaining about how mean his character is to series star Kyra Sedgwick.

He promises the meanness only happens on camera – that the cast gets along so well that every Friday they get together for an impromptu potluck party, where each cast member brings a dish and take turns singing karaoke.

And what does Gossett bring to the table?

He admits, “Margaritas are my specialty.”

The Closer airs Monday nights and the season finale takes place September 4.
