New Reality Show Promises Many Booze-Fueled Catfights

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – What happens when you put 11 strangers in a beach house together for the summer? A lot of booze-fueled arguing.

Or that’s what K.J. Nies, one of the cast members of the new ABC reality show One Ocean View found out when he signed on to live with strangers on Fire Island in New York for the summer.

Nies – whose cousin, Eric, appeared on the very first edition of The Real World – says he thought the cast would be spared the normal reality TV drama because they were only together on the weekends.

He quickly learned that the time apart actually helped fuel the trash talking.

As he puts it, “People would go off and gossip with each other during the week and then come back to the house – there was a lot of ‘he said, she said’ going on, which lead to a lot of arguing.”

But gossip wasn’t the only thing that got people’s panties in a bunch – the limited bathroom space didn’t help either.

Nies says it was hard getting ready at night with so many girls and that the females “kept stealing my hair spray – I had to bring a new bottle to the house every week.”

One Ocean View premieres Monday (July 31).
