Nigel Lythgoe Isn’t The Only Bully In Dallas Dancer’s Life

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Getting booted off of So You Think You Can Dance was a bad break for breakdancer Ashlee Nino.

But it wasn’t as painful as what happened to her when she was 2 years old.

Nino, a “funkstyles” dancer from Dallas, Texas, was kicked off the show this past Thursday (July 13), but, while it hurts to be criticized by judges like Nigel Lythgoe, he’s a pussycat compared to a former dance classmate who terrorized her.

She says she first took dance lessons when she was 2 but quickly dropped out because of a little girl who kicked her in the stomach and made her cry.

As she puts it, “All I remember is telling my mom I’d never dance again. I don’t even know who the little brat that kicked me was, but she made me quit dance until I was 6 years old.”

Although she’s out of the Fox competition, Nino promises that she’ll never stop dancing again, no matter how many bullies try to kick her when she’s down.
