With names like Shady Grown and Magic Herb Blend, you wonder if anything psychedelic was added to the mix.
Republic of Teas Minister of Enlightenment Marideth Post reveals theres a little bit of a wink that goes along with some of the tea names, but insists, All ingredients are legal.
In fact, theres not even a hint of mushrooms in any of the teas, though Post says the original artwork on the tins done by Garcia is somewhat psychedelic.
So theres no room for error, she explains that Morning Brew is a play on Garcias song Morning Dew; Jerry Cherry is a nod to the Cherry Garcia ice cream; and Spirit of Sage is just a nice soft green tea thats good for vocalists.
The teas will be available March 1 and a portion of proceeds will go to a charity called DrawBridge, which provides art programs for homeless children.
