New Video Games Make For Comedy Gold

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Video games may be a waste of time, but they’re comedy gold as far as Bert Kreischen, cast member of Spike TV’s Fresh Baked Video Games, is concerned.

Kreischen stars in the show that blends together comedy and video games – old and new.

But Kreischen says the best jokes about video games come from new games, not old ones like Pacman.

However, he does reflect on Pacman, saying when the pellet-chomping arcade game came out in the 1980s, activists took to the airwaves of news programs like 20/20 saying it would lead to eating disorders and obesity in children.

Kreischen says, “I guess they were right. Maybe we should listen to them.”

In that case, he thinks the next wave of youths will be “drug crazed, crack-junkie, car-jacking hookers” like in the video game Grand Theft Auto.
