Los Angeles-based Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, who started the band in 1993, say they dont get upset when theyre mistakenly called The Chemical Brothers.
Jordan laughs and says its understandable because, There are similarities. There are two guys in the band...the name starts with the letter C.
He says because theyre so familiar with the music, the two bands are like night and day, but thinks one clear difference is: Theyre British. Were American.
For Kirkland, the distinction is much more obvious. In his words, Were better looking than them.
You can decide for yourself beginning January 24, when the new documentary Coachella featuring live performances from both bands at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Southern California hits theaters.
Either way, says Kirkland, Itll be fun to watch.
