Jolly Old St. Nick Too Thick For Liposuction

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If jolly old St. Nick ever wants to get rid of his bowl full of jelly-belly he’d better forget liposuction.

That’s because, as Chicago-based plastic surgeon Sam Speron says, not all patients are good candidates for liposuction, including Santa.

For one, Speron says Kris Kringle is too old, and his skin lacks the elasticity to retract after surgery.

Also, liposuction is not for people like Santa who need to lose more than 30 pounds, it’s for people who have localized fat deposits they want to get rid of.

The most weight a patient loses from lipo is about three pounds.

If Santa were a good candidate for plastic surgery, Speron says with new advances in liposuction, he could have the surgery and be back to work in a few days, plenty of time before Christmas.
