Marcus Roche says he modeled the half-swimsuit called Sliver on draped fabrics seen in art throughout history, adding, Its engineering at its best.
Roche explains that the suit holds itself on top of the genitals and although elastic is employed, he insists, Its not like a tourniquet.
To date, hes sold about 20,000 Sliver suits at $49 each, and reveals his daring clients are mostly from Europe and Japan.
Roche says all his designs available for viewing at vizeau.com are very, very valued by the customers, especially a guy from Osaka who plunks down $2000 a month for his speedos.
The designer thinks the secret to speedo success is focusing on style and comfort, and says he always tries to avoid what I would call a camel toe.
Asked for clarification he says, Well, the balls.
