‘Dead Like Me’ Fans Protesting On Halloween

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Showtime series Dead Like Me got the axe in March, but that’s not stopping disgruntled fans from trying to bring the show back to life with a protest on Monday (Oct. 31).

Fans of the series, which ran for two years and centered around a young female grim reaper, will personally deliver more than 7,500 of the 30,000 “why are they canceling the show?” e-mails gleaned from to the Showtime office in New York.

Protest spokesman Jack Myers figures this Halloween protest event is likely the last chance viewers will have to convince Showtime to bring back the series in some form.

However, since a couple of the series stars like Laura Harris and Callum Blue have moved on to other projects, Myers believes if the protest is successful, the most likely result would be a special two-hour wrap up show.
