Two ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Stars Write About The Days Of Their Lives

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Like sands through the hourglass, two long-time Days of Our Lives stars are getting to the nitty-gritty of their lives.

Actors and spouses Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes have just released an autobiography of their lives called Like Sands Through the Hourglass (New American Library).

What makes the couple unique is that they met on the Days set on April 14, 1970, and were married in real life two years before their characters were married on TV.

In fact, the Hayeses will celebrate their 31st wedding anniversary on Wednesday (Oct. 12).

In their days on Days, Susan’s character, Julie, has been shot, had a pregnancy that spanned a year-and-a-half and was charged with murder. But Susan protests, “I was acquitted!”

Bill’s character, Doug, holds the honor of being murdered, only to be resurrected on an island.

Despite spending all day together, the happy couple both agree “it hasn’t killed the romance or the quality of our work.”
