Anthony Hopkins Gives Photographer Something To ‘Shutter’ About

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A picture is worth a thousand words, but a picture of a funky, musically-charged Anthony Hopkins is worth a thousand laughs.

That was the case for celebrity photographer Jeff Vespa who shot the Proof star for Hewlett-Packard’s charity auction of celebrity portraits, which are being sold at with proceeds going to the American Red Cross to help Hurricane Katrina victims.

Vespa says there was a DJ in the studio during the shoot, mixing it up with some electronic and techno tunes.

However, it was Hopkins who kept everyone in stitches by dancing and grooving in his chair while posing for the shots.

Then Hopkins asked the DJ if he wouldn’t mind burning him a copy of the tunes for later.

Vespa says he thinks Hopkins may have a career as a comedian.

The auction, which ends Sept. 29, consists of 25 photos in all, including portraits of actresses Eva Longoria, Kate Hudson, and Felicity Huffman and actors Elijah Wood, Pierce Brosnan, and Kevin Bacon.
