Reality Star Does Movie Romance By Imagining, ‘She’s A Man, Baby’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A lot of reality show alumni want to be actors, but Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl is acting on his ambitions in more ways than one.

Lehmkuhl is one of the stars of Kill Reality, an E! Entertainment Television series that features the attempts of various reality show vets to make a horror film called The Scorned.

Although Lehmkuhl has taken numerous acting classes since junior high, his scenes with his love interest, Tonya Cooley from Real World: Chicago, required him to use aspects of his real life more than stage training.

Lehmkuhl is gay but says in order to do his scenes with Cooley he decided to imagine she was “someone from my past who treated me like crap...and just happened to be a man.”

No word on how the final product looks but Lehmkuhl is hoping his work in The Scorned gets him cast on a soap opera like The Young And The Restless.

In the meantime, Lehmkuhl is also working on a new book, Here’s What We’ll Say, which details how he hid his homosexuality while attending the Air Force Academy.
