Black Midgets Needed For Will Smith Movie

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Casting directors are looking for little black people for stand-in work on the Will Smith movie, Pursuit of Happyness (SIC).

The San Francisco-based Beau Bonneau Casting says it’s looking for adult African-American males and females, who measure between 3-foot 11-inches and 4-foot 1-inches to stand-in for Smith’s character’s son during lighting tests and other technical work.

Directors need 18-year-olds or older because child labor laws prevent youngsters from working long hours on the set.

The movie’s plot revolves around Smith’s character, Christopher Gardner, a once homeless man who turns his life around and becomes the head of his own brokerage firm.

A spokeswoman for the company says they need as many little people as possible willing to stand-in for the entire duration of the filming – from late August to November of this year.
