The San Francisco-based Beau Bonneau Casting says its looking for adult African-American males and females, who measure between 3-foot 11-inches and 4-foot 1-inches to stand-in for Smiths characters son during lighting tests and other technical work.
Directors need 18-year-olds or older because child labor laws prevent youngsters from working long hours on the set.
The movies plot revolves around Smiths character, Christopher Gardner, a once homeless man who turns his life around and becomes the head of his own brokerage firm.
A spokeswoman for the company says they need as many little people as possible willing to stand-in for the entire duration of the filming from late August to November of this year.
