‘X-Files’’ Dean Haglund Hair To Go Up For Sale

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Here’s a real head scratcher: The hair from The X-Files former cast member, Dean Haglund, is up for sale.

Haglund, who played the blond, long-haired techno-nerd from the show, cut his locks off at a comedy show two years ago, but didn’t throw it away.

Instead, he collected it in a bag and eventually gave it to trading card maker MNS Cards which took the hair and put little samples into a card with a plexi-glass window.

Now the hair will be sold as part of a 20-card set devoted to Haglund, which will also include a card autographed by the sci-fi star.

The set could sell for as much as $35, although the cards’ maker is considering selling the hair card separately for anywhere from $20 to $40.

Sales should start sometime after October at mnscards.com and deanhaglund.com.
