According to research from the Zandl Group, hipsters in New York are reviving the playground hand gesture game, Rock Paper Scissors, and holding competitions in bars.
Another trend thats on the fringe and could blow up is Christian videogames, such as the recent release, Spiritual Warfare, in which players are soldiers in the Army of the Lord fighting modern-day evils set to a score of gospel music.
Low-cost, pre-fab houses are another buzz-worthy trend, as are nude figure drawing classes.
Finally, instead of going out to drink and eat, hipsters may soon be spending more time making their own libations and vittles and taking them to-go.
Zandl Group president Irma Zandl says only time will tell which trends will last, but her buzz index has a 50-50 track record for predicting previously hot lifestyle trends like knitting and pomegranate juice.
