ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Rod Blagojevich may be washed up, but his thick, flowing locks sure aren’t.

The former Illinois governor’s signature ’do has inspired a line of volumizing “Blago” shampoo and conditioner available on blagohair.com.

Creator Dennis Fath, of Delta Laboratories Inc., says Blago is formulated with special ingredients that make hair feel thicker, including silk protein, rosemary, and orchid.

So far, customers – including many women – have been happy with the results, and Fath says even those who buy the shampoo as a joke end up actually liking it.

Though it helps pump up the volume, Fath says Blago doesn’t necessarily leave users with Blagojevich’s exact hairstyle.

He chalks up the governor’s perfect coif to personal styling techniques that can’t be duplicated with just shampoo.

Since hair is such a huge part of the politician’s image, Fath feels it would only make sense to have him officially endorse the product.
