Kitties Get Leg Up With Litter Box

This high-tech litter box gives cats a leg up while doing their business.

The Litter-Robot is a globe-shaped litter box that automatically self-cleans after a cat uses it.

It’s controlled by a kitty’s weight so when they’re done dropping a deuce and step out, the cleaning begins.

The clumps are deposited into a drawer below for easy removal and disposal. Because the poo isn’t out in the open, there’s less odor.

Brad Baxter created the product after struggling with his own cats’ crappy bathroom habits.

Although the apparatus looks much different than a normal litter box, Baxter says most cats are curious to go inside and get used to it quickly.

Once they feel and smell familiar litter on their paws, they understand it’s their new throne.

Baxter says the device is enclosed to contain messes. It’s unknown whether cats enjoy the upgraded privacy of the fancy litter box.
