NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Believe it or not, some people actually want to get fired.At PleaseFireMe.com, office drones trudging away at work can post why they wish they would get the axe from the job they hate.
One user writes: “Please fire me. I walked to the park yesterday and cried,” while another laments never being invited to happy hour by his co-workers.
Creator Adam Chromy says most people are “not satisfied” with their day job because companies create positions that require little talent and even less intellectual effort.
He says, “It’s like the French Revolution. People are working hard in these soul-crushing jobs while a few people are partying in Versailles. People stay in cubicle monkey jobs because they have to, but they’re not interesting.”
Through the blog, Chromy hopes people find solace in knowing that at least they’re not alone in their desire to be fired.
