For 20 years, radio and TV host Barry Z has been interviewing celebrities, often hearing their innermost secrets.
Without much prodding, stars always seem to spill the biggest shockers on The Barry Z Show, sometimes even before he can ask a question.
For example, Nathan Lane came out as a gay man on a whim on his show and veteran actor Robert Vaughan revealed that hes always wanted to play Hitler on screen.
Barry Z says the best secrets come out in passing conversation because celebrities consider him just like family.
He explains, I could be their brother, uncle, whatever. But maybe not their sister.
Barry Z says celebs know hes not out to hurt them or compete for air time, so they feel comfortable sharing their private stories.
Since he has a huge theater audience, he may one day turn his on-air confessions into a full-length stage play.
