For example, the minute he laid eyes on singer Leona Lewis, he knew she’d win The X Factor.
Right after watching her first audition on the British talent competition he sent her a MySpace message, which may have added to her luck.
He also once helped David Beckham score during an important soccer match by wishing with all his might that the ball go into the goal.
Given his track record, Maynard is confident predicting the latest Idol winner, although the new season doesn’t debut until January 12.
As of now, he sees a strong, red-headed “rock chick” winning.
Once he’s picked his pony, he dreams of traveling to Hollywood and being the aspiring singer’s good luck charm in the audience.
