Swardson, of Grandmas Boy and Reno 911! fame, has been trying to tell a diarrhea joke in his stand-up act for years that always falls flat.
The quip goes: Its Pepto Bismols anniversary. Celebrating 30 years of diarrhea.
Though hes always found the joke hilarious, it never gets a laugh on the stage.
He attempted to salvage it once by giving the joke to Sarah Silverman, but even then, it pooped out with audiences.
Hes since abandoned it, and no longer sneaks it into his act.
Swardson laments, The jury has spoken. But I still think its funny that people would celebrate diarrhea.
But the gag may not be completely dead.
Swardson says itll be the last joke he ever tells, when hes 98 and on his deathbed.
