‘Roseanne’ A Fashion Icon?

TORONTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The pretend town of Lanford, Illinois, is THE fashion capital of the world.

Watching old episodes of Roseanne can turn anyone into a fashionista thanks to, which highlights the threads worn on every episode of the sitcom.

Creator Kyle David Larsen Humphrey decided to “catalog all the amazing outfits” worn on the show because the ladies and gents of Lanford, Illinois, really know how to pull off the midwestern look.

He says, “The clothes, props, and set were all so realistic and accurate. The style was so low key. They were definitely representing the midwest.”

Humphrey sees how young hipsters nowadays have taken to the Roseanne look with their plaid shirts, Navajo print sweaters, and high-waisted jeans.

He thinks Roseanne’s bold style “trumps all the rest,” but the other characters still form a Sex and the City-like group of fashion icons.
