‘Alice In Wonderland’ Goes Brunette

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Alice, of Alice In Wonderland, has officially gone to the dark side.

The classic literary character and tale have been completely reimagined for a new TV flick, Alice, airing on SyFy Sunday (Dec. 6) and Monday (Dec. 7).

Besides new wonderlands, creatures, and adventures, there’s one very noticeable change in Alice – the girl isn’t a blonde.

Brunette Caterina Scorsone plays Alice and believes her dark locks work for the revamped role.

Since it’s a “very different movie and story,” it makes perfect sense for Alice’s hair to also be different.

Scorsone was “surprised, happy, and relieved” that she wasn’t asked to dye her tresses blonde for the flick and adds, “My hair is so grateful for the decision.”

She says her version of Alice is a whole new woman, braver than she’s ever been portrayed.

New Alice is also “much taller.”
