Karaoke Challenge: Strip ’N’ Sing

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Belting out a sexy song while removing your belt isn’t easy.

Karaoke will get hot on Tuesday (Nov. 17) at San Diego’s Ruby Room, where they’re holding the “Too Cool For Karaoke Strip Karaoke Contest” benefitting the Susan G. Komen For The Cure foundation.

Organizer Adam Gimbel admits that dropping trou while singing isn’t easy, having once tried changing into a Princess Leia costume on stage while singing Madonna’s “Lucky Star.”

It takes balance, precision, and a smokin’ song to get the audience riled up.

He recommends Prince’s “Gett Off” because, in his words, “there’s nuthin’ sexier than mispelt wordz,” “Big Bottom” by Spinal Tap since it beats “Baby Got Back” as “THE butt jam,” and “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” because Mr. Rogers is a “pimp.”

Gimbel will have a “nudity whistle” on hand should any panties look like they’re dropping too low, causing instant “potential for weirdness.”
